It' the roaring 20's and when young Patrick is left in the care of of his flamboyant Auntie when his father drops dead of heart attack. Patrick is quickly indoctrinated into his Aunts philosphy of life "Life is banquet and most poor sons-of-bitches are starving to death. Social-climbing executor of Patricks estate Mr. Babcock does his best to raise the young boy as a stuffy aristocrat.
